DVD-LV50 Portable DVD Player
by Telly Scotchmeyer for Digital Living Today

Digital images, be they still or moving, need to be displayed on a monitor. It's to be expected, then, that a small portable screen that can read CDs, CD-Rs, MP3CDs, VCDs, and DVDs of all kinds would be indispensable. Enter the Panasonic DVD-LV50 Portable DVD Player. Less than an inch thick, this zippy device can decode all kinds of digital media, both moving and still, and display them on a bright 5 inch LCD screen. Take a DVD on an airplane (the battery gives you about two hours of viewing time on a charge). Then pop in your VCD photo album and show your friends your photos. You can even take an MP3 CD along and use the LV50 to play over ten hours of music on one disc. Want to view a bigger image, to share with a group? Just plug the LV50 into any television and watch your movie or scroll through your photos on the larger screen. Forgive the subpar built-in speaker, and you'll realize that in the LV50 you have a high-fidelity mobile entertainment machine.
